ZipRhythm: Residency Verification Made Simple
ZipRhythm helps school districts manage residency re-verification in a structured, closed-loop workflow.
Administrators create cases, families respond through a portal, and the system guides everything to resolution
with automation rather than manual follow-up through scattered emails and phone calls.
What Districts Do
- Create new residency cases retroactively for enrolled families
- Review family responses in a single dashboard
- Flag discrepancies such as:
- Expired documents
- Name mismatches
- Lease issues (guardian not listed, extra occupants, etc.)
- Conflicting residency details
- Send outreach messages using consistent tone controls (Soft, Medium, Firm)
- Preview and edit messages before sending
- Schedule reminders (1–5 day follow-ups) so nothing slips through the cracks
- Maintain internal case notes and action history logs
- Validate property data at scale, including best mailing addresses when residency changes
What Families Do
- Log in to view district requests
- Choose from finite response paths:
- Update residency proofs using a multi-step wizard
- Provide written clarification
- Share a corrected address to connect with the registrar of the correct district
- Upload documents and tag important details (issuance date, names on documents, address details, etc.)
Why This Matters
- Supports early correction when data doesn't line up
- Reduces administrative back-and-forth
- Helps districts avoid improper out-of-district enrollment and potential tuition repayment scenarios
Pilot & Feedback
Districts participating in a pilot get to:
- Help shape the tool through direct feedback
- Define what success looks like for their office workflows
- Inform future feature enhancements
